MONDAY

Dino Trading Cards was the theme of the day for the senior and intermediate groups and the juniors had fun making dinosaur paper plates

TUESDAY

Today was all about Paleontology and Fossils. Each room had their own projects which included Dino footprints in the Jr room, and finding fossils. The intermediates and senior made salt dough dinosaur imprints, and dissolved baking soda dino eggs.

WEDNESDAY

Box-O-Saurus

Campers took their time on this project making their Box-O-Saurus! They had to plan and design their dinosaur. The groups enjoyed decorating and presenting their masterpieces! In the junior room they had fun making their own handprint dinosaurs!

Thursday

Campers had so much fun, planning, designing, painting, and then of course, erupting their volcanos.

FRIDAY

Today the campers wrapped up any unfinished projects and tested their knowledge with a game of trivia! We ended an amazing camp week with water balloons and popsicles.

WEEK AT THE SANDY SPA ON COUSIN'S ISLAND DaVinci's Spa week is all about health beauty and science. We talk about healthy diets, exercise, products, and friendships. Here were some highlights of our week! Spa Products One of our big focuses at the sandy spa is that it is so important to know what you are putting on your body. Organic can be expensive and sometimes misleading. We made all sorts of spa products this week: Sugar Lip Scrub Avocado Face Masks Foot Scrub Hand Sanitizer Goat Soap Bath-bombs Almost every product we made contained ingredients that are most likely already in your pantry. And many of our products were edible. Exercise At the Sandy spa, a healthy life style is so important to us so we touched upon diet and exercise. Eccentric Art - Falmouth

Dear Families, Eccentric Artists enjoyed a variety of quirky crafts this week. Be sure to keep scrolling to see all the activities your camper enjoyed. Overview of the Week 3D art: campers represented an animal or person in three ways: tinfoil, clay, and cardboard. Jewelry: artists made friendship bracelets, pins, and also enjoyed "jewelry stations," where they were invited to assemble a variety of jewelry types. Home decor: Dream catchers, napkin rings, wind chimes, oh my!! We made a variety of crafts to adorn the home. Sensational Sea Life: Falmouth!

Dear Deep Sea Explorers, It was a fin-tastic week at camp! 🐟 🐠 Campers explored the zones of the ocean with a variety of interactive crafts, a field trip, and a live lobster visit. Camp Highlights Ocean folders: Students created interactive folders that teach about the three primary ocean zones: sunlight, twilight, and midnight. Across the week, they learned about the types of animals and plants that live in each zone. Lobsters: campers enjoyed a live lobster visit and learned about the important role lobsters play in Main's economy and ecosystem. Field trip: campers spent Thursday at Wolfe's Neck, engaging in a beach scavenger hunt and a hearing a talk from a local scuba-diver.
