Week at the Sandy Spa

MONDAY  On Monday we started the day off by getting to know each other and coming up with our own spa and product ideas. For our topic of the day, we discussed the environmental impacts of micro beads and how we can exfoliate for cheap and be healthier just by using easily accessible home products. We then made a delicious and healthy brown sugar lip scrub. Here is a link to watch a youtube tutorial on making that particular lip scrub as well as several other great lip scrubs:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWxPUmdgHG8 After making our scrubs we decorated little jars to put them in.  After our day's lesson and craft, we went down to the beach for some paddle boarding and swimming.  TUESDAY In the morning we finished up our exfoliating topic by making a great salt scrub. We combined: Two scoops of coconut oil Himalayan Rock salt (eye balling it)  Coarse sea salt ( half as much as the rock salt) one to two drops
