 Davinci Experience Summer Camp at Falmouth Campus Illustrious Illustrators Week Calling all artists! Get ready with your drawing pad! This week at Davinci, camper's learned about illustration and story telling through art. Monday Campers were asked, what is an Author? Who is an illustrator? Campers focused on learning how illustrators use art to help tell stories.  Tuesday The second day of camp, campers learned about local authors such as Chris Vanducent, the author of If I Built a House series. They learned about the Caldecott award, an annual award granted to the most exceptional illustrators of children books. Wednesday  What is a comic book? What makes a comic book different from other forms for story telling? On Wednesday, we learned about comics and had the opportunity to make our own. The Davinci Experience Summer Camp at Pineland Campus Music Makers Week   What's that sound? It's time to make some music! Strike up the band and learn about all the different genres and sounds of music! Tuesday We had so much fun learning more about instruments and then we got to make guitars,  Wednesday  Bring on your dance moves we are moving today! Campers danced, and then danced some more.  THURSDAY The big request, more water time! the campers enjoyed the outdoors and kept rehearsing their songs throughout the day,
 Music Makers - Falmouth This week the kids learned all about music, dance, and instruments. Farm Vet Week MONDAY Wow! What a treat for the campers today to see Spark's Ark and his magnificent animals. He has some beautiful animals and reminds those of how to take care of wildlife and pets. TUESDAY We got to meet Sylvia the chicken today and learned all about poultry from anatomy, to diet, to social hierarchies.  WEDNESDAY It's Cow Day!! The campers constructed their own cardboard cow and got to milk it. We made homemade ice cream to commemorate the day.  THURSDAY Campers had fun building forts during recess time.  FRIDAY Field Trip Day!!!!!
